(Official Release) Resolution Wins at SXSW 2025 Film & TV Festival!

Immersive Polyphonic Spree dome film grabs XR Spotlight Audience Award and Poster Design Jury Award.

We are proud to announce two prestigious wins for Resolution: A Cinephonic Rhapsody For The Soul at SXSW 2025’s Film & TV Festival. 

The Audience Award is a key honor at SXSW, recognizing the most well-received experiences across narrative, documentary, shorts, TV, and XR. Voted on by festival attendees, it highlights the projects that resonated most with audiences. For 2025, Resolution takes home the Audience Award for the XR Experience Spotlight. This dome theater film became the XR festival’s most in-demand experience, selling out each morning within hours. Lines wrapped around the XR Exhibition Hall as hundreds of attendees waited in hopes of securing one of the coveted spots for the film's daily screenings. 

Resolution, Scott Berman, Ryan Hartsell and Tim Delaughter’s incredibly moving immersive film, a 43-minute physical dome experience, is a reimagining of The Polyphonic Spree’s latest album Salvage Enterprise. Each track features a unique story and visual treatment that reflects its tone and message of hope and overcoming, inviting audiences to step inside the music to experience it on a whole new level. The film also snags a jury award for Poster Design. It’s not hard to see why. The Polyphonic Spree, as if they need introduction, is Delaughter’s illustrious and legendary Dallas-based symphonic rock sprawl. 

Resolution made history at SXSW 2025 with the first-ever physical dome theater experience showcasing in the XR Experience Spotlight. The film has also been showing at the Sky Theater Planetarium in Denton, TX since Fall 2024, and more recently opened on March 1st at the cutting-edge Omni Theater in Fort Worth with 300 screenings planned. Plans for additional screenings across the US, EU, and UK are currently in motion.
